Skinny Turkey Sliders

Ingredients

1 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 Cup Cremini Mushrooms, finely chopped
1 Medium Onion, finely chopped
1 Garlic Clove, minced
1 Tsp Trader Joe’s 21 Seasoning Salute
1/4 Tsp Sea Salt
16 oz Ground Turkey
4 100% Whole Wheat Hot Dog Buns, each cut in half to make 8 slider buns.

Directions

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add mushrooms and onions. Cook for 4 mins. Add garlic, 21 seasoning sauce, and sea salt. Cook an addional minute. Remove from heat and let cool.

In a large bowl add ground turkey and mushroom, onion mixture. Blend well. Divide into 8 equal balls. Form balls into 2 inch thick patties.

Heat grill pan over medium heat. Add patties and cook on each side for 3 minutes each or until paties are no longer pink inside.

Once you remove the patties from the pan place the buns on to toast.

Add your favorite condiments and topping and enjoy!

Skinny Secret Sauce

Ingredients

1/4 Cup Plain Yogurt
1 Tbsp Ketchup
1/2 Tbsp Dill Pickle Relish

Directions

Mix all ingredients. Store in fridge until ready to use.

Serving Size: 6 – 1 tbsp serving

Honey Mustard Sauce

Ingredients

1/4 cup yellow mustard
2 Tbsp Honey

Directions

in a small bowl mix well.

Ingredients

1 Tsp Yogurt, plain, low fat
1/4 Tsp Mayonnaise, Light
pinch of ground pepper
1 Whole Wheat Tortilla
3 Slices Oven Roasted Turkey (deli)
1 Cup Alfalfa sprouts
2 slices Tomatoes

Directions

In a small bowl mix the yogurt, mayonnaise and ground pepper together. Spread onto whole wheat tortilla.

Layer turkey, sprouts, and tomatoes on top of spread.

Roll and enjoy!

Skinny Club Sandwich

Skinny Club Sandwich

Ingredients

1 Slice Turkey Bacon
1 Tbsp Light Mayonnaise
1 Tbsp Low fat, plain Yogurt
3 slices 1oo% whole wheat bread (50 calorie slices)
3 slices Jennie-O Oven Roasted Turkey Breast (Deli Counter Sliced)
1 Lg leaf Romaine Lettuce
2 Slices Tomatoes

Directions

Cook turkey bacon. My favorite way to cook it is in a toster oven at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 mins.

Once bacon has cooled cut up into small pieces place in a bowl. Add the mayonnaise and yogurt.

Toast the bread. Spread the Bacon/Mayo/Yogurt spread evenly on all three slices of toast.

On first slice of bread add turkey, then place second slice of toast on top of turkey.

Then add lettuce and tomato. Add remaining toast slice and enjoy.

Make sure you use whole wheat bread that is 50 calories per slice. Also you can always cut the calories and carb count down by only using 2 slices of bread.
